So Busy!

I'm so sorry that I haven't been around guys! Work has been keeping me so busy that I've even been working extra hours and so by the time I get home I'm so pooped that MV is totally getting neglected.

I'll make it up to you guys soon I promise!

I still have one race left from Dec to judge, I haven't forgotten but I've been short on time lately!

I've posted the races for January so feel free to enter those! Everything else on the other hand will have to be on hold until life gets back on track!

Due to a freak snow storm, some of our teams had to withdraw! One team is still missing... A search team has been sent out into the blizzard to find Shanuk's team, Frozen Criticism.

The battle was fierce! Running nearly neck and neck throughout the last leg of the race, Miss Ann Thrope's team and Pollypups team fought back and forth! Until Miss Ann Thrope's team finally began to pull ahead! With Polaris closely trailing the leaders they made their way down the final stretch...

Racing Titles

We finally have titles for our mushers and dogs!! Who's excited??

Our sled dog points system is based off of systems used in our real world, but modified to fit the Mountain View Races needs. The same way that dogs earn points, so do the mushers.

Note: MVR is only responsible for tracking the status of our mushers. It is your responsibility to track the titles of your dogs. HOWEVER. This is a mighty big "however" so please make a note to yourself. As all races are saved in an archive, it is possible to go back and double check who's teams/dogs placed where. So please be accurate and don't cheat your titles.

Musher Titles
Listed below are the titles you receive as musher as your teams earn points throughout their adventures at the Mountain View Races.

Champion - 30pts
Grand Champion - 50pts
Supreme Champion - 70pts
World Champion - 100pts
Racing Legend - 300pts

Sled Dog Titles
Listed below are the titles your dogs will receive as they earn points throughout their adventures at the Mountain View Races. Please don't forget that for these titles, it is your responsibility to keep track of your team's records.

SD (sled dog): Must have participated and placed either 1st, 2nd or 3rd in at lease 3 races.

SDX (sled dog excellent): Must have participated in 3 NEW races, placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in all three. Dogs must have already achieved their SD titles in order to get this title.

SDU (sled dog unlimited): Must of have participated in 3 NEW races, placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in all three. Dogs must have already achieved their SDX titles in order to get this title.
